I personally recommend using the Healing Face Oil in the morning because it absorbs a little more quickly, and using the facial creams at night for deeper nourishment. You can also layer the facial oil underneath your tallow face cream for added moisture.

Elkays Black African Foaming Face Wash can be used morning and night to gently cleanse your skin.

Ultimately, there is no right or wrong routine. Find what makes your skin feel its best!

My personal Elkay Beauty routine is:

1. Oil Cleanser
Use the oil cleanser first to gently dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and buildup.

2. Black African Foaming Face Wash
Follow with my face wash to cleanse your skin and remove any remaining impurities.

3. Healing Facial Oil
Apply your facial oil as a nourishing base to replenish and moisturize your skin.

4. Tallow Face Cream
Finish with your favorite tallow face cream to lock in moisture and provide lasting nourishment. Ageless or Healing Facial Cream!

You can adjust the routine based on what your skin needs. Skincare should work for you, not the other way around!

The shelf life of each product is listed at the bottom of its product page. As a general guideline, many of our facial oils and body butters can be enjoyed for up to 12 months when stored properly. Because Elkay Beauty uses natural, organic ingredients and avoids unnecessary preservatives with proper storage you have plenty of time to enjoy your skincare!
